Terrors MUMBAI Blasts Thousands Are Injured And 21 Killed: Three bomb attacks shook the largest city in India, Mumbai, in urban areas during rush hour on Wednesday evening, killing at least 21 people and injured more than 100 others.
Wednesday night killed at least 17 ??people and injured 131 in three blasts devastated the city – at Dadar in central Mumbai and Zaveri Bazaar and the Opera House in South Mumbai – making it the worst attack since the terrorist barbarism 26/11.
Lifeline of the city – the railways of the West Central Railway and BEST bus – was the usual crowd of spectators office this morning.
“The whole city of Mumbai has been placed on alert,” Chidambaram said, the site of Wednesday night and Thursday morning inspected. “I appeal to the people in Mumbai to stay calm and maintain peace.”
The attacks on Wednesday recalled memories haunt in a city that has suffered from, including the massive attack by gunmen in Pakistan, which killed 164 people in November 2008.
