Orissa News Two Killed: Two people were killed and about a dozen other people were injured in a clash between police and villagers in Orissa Friday in the arrest of some villagers a few days ago, an official said.
The clash came about when the police tried to remove a roadblock held hundreds of villagers in the vicinity of the village in Ganjam district Khajipalli, about 250 km from here.
The villagers blocked the road for three days in protest against the arrest of nearly 50 people in connection with a group clash in the 13th Region July.
The Orissa government has allocated 54.86 acres to Bharat Biotech to develop an integrated industrial park to attract and promote industries in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and information technology in Bhubaneswar in the way of public-private partnership. The park is the first of its kind planned in Orissa, the biotechnology industry, to encourage pharmaceutical and computer-state.
