Moment 4 life video:Nicki Minaj’s new video “Moment 4 Life” premiered tonight on MTV.com. The new clip features Drake and more than a few costume changes for Minaj.
“It’s a fantasy video,” Drake told MTV News. “You’ve got a very regal environment. You’ve got Nicki doing what she does. Big outfits. BIg everything.”
“It’s a celebration, but a different kind of celebration,” Minaj said. “Almost like a celebration of royalty.”
The video had a Cinderella theme, complete with formal gowns, sparkly slippers, and a fairy godmother with a British accent. There’s also a marriage-ish scene, with Drake and Minaj sharing a romantic moment on a balcony illuminated by fireworks. Minaj says she hopes the clip helps people to view her as a big-screen presence. We’ll see.
