Gossip Cop reports how this rumor spread: According to CelebDirtyLaundry, “The White House announced today that first lady Michelle Obama,46, is pregnant with her third child. President Barack Obama, 49, her husband is ecstatic!”
Pop2it tells us: Best we can tell, the source for the, ahem, news is the Weekly World News, the supermarket tabloid-turned-website that’s most famous for chronicling the likes of Bat Boy, the world’s fattest baby and space aliens who have an interest in presidential campaigns.
Lil Ol Me of Lipstick Alley writes: LOL, folks are determined to make FLOTUS be pregnant. The rumors have been around for 3 years now….. I wonder if Michelle gets tired of people asking or assuming she’s pregnant just because she isn’t a stick figure.
One would have expected the Weekly World News headline to read: Michelle Obama Impregnated by Alien held at Area 51 to Further Inter-space Diplomacy.
Yes, they also report on aliens impregnating earthlings.
Besides, when would Michelle Obama have time to raise another child in the White House?
Granted, she would have the best nanny’s in the world as they would undoubtedly be Secret Service agents.
Hmmmm…. Maybe there is some basis for the rumors.  Would a Presidential childbirth guarantee a reelection in 2012?
