Lala flores:MANILA, Philippines – A Filipina bagged the 2011 Ford Supermodel of the World title.
Danica Magpantay was announced the winner of the prestigious title in New York on Saturday.
Reports said she was followed by Lithuania, Poland, Brazil and Estonia.
With this victory, Magpantay received a $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models.
Magpantay is the daughter of Supermodel of the World Philippines 1990 winner Milagros “Lala” Flores.
According to its website, Ford Models Supermodel of the World is the largest and most prestigious international modeling competition. Aspiring models from more than 40 countries join the annual competition.
