jennifer williams:A civil lawsuit brought by a York County mother against school officials didn’t get very far in York-Poquoson Circuit Court Wednesday morning, but will be explored further on Feb. 16 at 1 p.m.
Substitute Judge Randolph T. West told lawyers for both sides he wants time to review confidential documents that are at issue before deciding which can be used in the case. The files at issue were from both the Department of Social Services and York County School Division.
Alise Williams is suing four York County School Division officials for $10 million for wrongful death. Her son Christian Taylor, a 16-year-old freshman at Grafton High School, took his own life May 31 and Williams has accused four officials of failing to protect him from bullying at school.
