Huda:You’ve been planning this day since you could toddle around the living room with a pillowcase as a veil. True, you have to put in some serious preparations in the months leading up to the wedding, but a lot of it can actually be fun. One of my favorite parts is, of course, the makeup.
Here’s the game plan. Take into account what your style is and get specific with what you think would be your ideal look. Tear pictures out of magazines and bring them to your makeup artist at the trial. Trials are KEY. They ensure your happiness on two major issues – the application as well as the personality of the artist. Is this someone who will add to your stress or help you relax and feel fabulous? Are they listening to what you want or just doing a paint by numbers on your face? The artist’s suggestions can be helpful, and as people who do this all day we may have some, but overall, your comfort and happiness and what you want are the most important things. Once you have found an artist you are happy with, there are a few different looks you would want to try out.
