Fountain lady:The Texting Fountain Lady video has gone viral and continues to trend. Now, in a drier moment, Cathy Cruz Marrero’s attorney cites Mall Security for releasing the footage on YouTube.
The video of the woman in a Pennsylvania shopping mall views like one of America’s Funniest Videos, the best ever captured on tape. In fact, the video has gone viral all around the world showing the woman’s comical, yet serious accident, given the gravity of what could have happened.
The video shows an inattentive Cathy Cruz Marrero walking along while texting a friend from church. The friend, according to Cruz Marerro, wanted to know her birthday and that of her husband’s as well. Seconds later, the video shows the Texting Fountain Lady falling forward into a shallow water fountain.
In the video, voices of those responsible can clearly be heard laughing at the soaking-wet woman. Her attorney would later claim in a televised interview that the Texting Fountain Lady video was shot by members of the mall’s security force and uploaded to a cell phone.
It was later posted on YouTube by the same person or persons of Mall Security. Those responsible, according to the attorney, did not render any assistance, but made a mockery of his client.
